Mussoorie was a popular hill station from the time of Britishers, and their influence can be seen in the architecture and many areas of the town. Kempty Falls is one of the most popular water fall at a height of over 40 ft from the midst of rock. While walking towards the Kempty falls, you come across a huge market where you can buy an array of handicrafts ranging from woollens, fabric wall hangings, imported goods, Tibetan metal ware, wooden articles, cane baskets and jewellery. A few more waterfalls that can be visited are Bhatta Falls, Jharipani Fall and Mossy Fall. The majestic Himalayan peaks are clearly visible from the second highest point in Mussoorie, the Gun Hill.
Camel’s back road shall be visited to view the spectacular sun set between the mountains. You can reach Camels back by hiring an electric trolley. Mist Lake is a perfect place for recreational activities. Other spots that can be visited are Lake Mist, Clouds End, The Mall, Benog Wild Life Century, Dhanaulti, Company Garden, Nag Devta Temple, Depot Hill, Lal Tibba, Jawahar Aquarium, Happy Valley, Jwala Devi Temple Benog Hill etc.
